Hi when I first joined this site (approx. 7yrs ago) and started my research I found my grandfathers sister Violet Sadler and her descendants (living in Liverpool) I knew of a family story regarding this lady and when I made contact with other member she gave me the full known story to which was really fascinating. - But - I cant find anything at all on this site relating to her and have lost all my notes. Do Genes delete members after so many years if membership not renewed?
I would love to find this member and once again get the full story surrounding Violet.

Have you tried Search all Trees? There are 148 Violet Sadlers on there, which you could probably reduce by putting in DoB and place of birth.

Then you could see if your contact still has a tree on here - although that doesn't mean she is still an active member. Worth a try though. :-)

Did you contact the other member by pm? If so have you checked your list of contacts?

this was part of the story for we knew he was previous married and took on the identity papers of his friend so he was able to stay here and marry Violet. Ship went down on going back to Hong Kong!!
so not sure if this was his ACTUAL name or his friends.
