Safc posted the marriage for Frances Coppins in 1851- she didn't marry James Coppins, she married George Medhurst- so not your Frances.

1861 shows James married to Frances with children Sarah Ann, Julia and Stephen, but he didnt marry Frances Saywell untill 1863!
So either they were just living together in 1861 or James married Frances Coppins in 1851.
I need James' marriage cert.

Just to note, I don't think James' Mum was Esther Staples.

Daniel married Esther in 1828- he was a widower.
