In bound passenger lists

Hello,

I noticed that on genes reunited and I think ancestry.com also only have out bound passenger lists. Is there any way to access in bound passenger lists? Especially at the end of world war ll or slightly after.

Ancestry has "UK, Incoming Passenger Lists, 1878-1960" ."This database is an index to the Board of Trade’s passenger lists of ships arriving in the United Kingdom from foreign ports outside of Europe and the Mediterranean. "

You seem to be correct.

Although there is a data base headed UK, Incoming Passenger Lists, 1878-1960, there's nothing after 1921.
Neither, it appears, does there seem to be anything on Findmypast.

If you'd like to give a name & yob, we can try anyway. Just for the record - there is virtually no records for travel from the European continent.

Added - the Ancestry 1878-1960 might cover it after all. Don't forget that plane travel became slightly more common

Yes, the Incoming Passenger list on Ancestry does cover up to 1960.
