Could some one please check the following on the above index.

Name: Richard Williams
Registration Year: 1858
Registration Quarter: Jul-Aug-Sep
Registration district: Watford
Parishes for this Registration District: View Ecclesiastical Parishes associated with this Registration District
Inferred County: Hertfordshire
Volume: 3a
Page: 175.

When I click on to view the page all it shows are a few Williams with about 20 first names starting with A then nothing.

I entered the above details on the GRO Online Index

All I get is Results: No Matching Results Found.

I reported it to the GRO.

GRO Comments: Indexed data is correct.

Am I doing something wrong.

Am I right that most of the Williams for the SQ 1858 are missing on the Death Index 1837-1915.

Where did you find the 1858 S Quarter in WATFORD UNION Volume 03A Page 178

No they're not missing- you can view the original by searching here, and clicking the spectacle icon. (I just searched deaths using Richard Williams 1858 Watford)

The transcription of the index states:
Volume: 3a Page: 175, however, the original states Volume: 3a Page: 178

The Watford Union death, which gives death age, is from the GRO (it is free to use, but you need to register):

The GRO transcription gives the correct page number of 178

So the originals are just missing on the Ancestry SQ 1858 Death Index 1837-1915.

Some other pages are also missing from those shown when following that link on Ancestry.

For instance, there's a jump from Amelia Wilson to William Wilson.
