How long ago was the last contact with him?

Are you 100% sure of his DOB?

His birth wasn't registered until the July/Aug/Sept quarter of 1935, which seems late for a 1st May birth.

I'm very sorry if this him, though the record could have been opened in error?
(could have been evacuated at the start of the war ?)

Well online deaths don't go much further than 2005

He could also,still be alive as he would in his eighties

He could have gone abroad

If his brother doesn't know where he is then seems he didn't stay in touch with famiiy

Yes i know about his parents, we just dont know Georges whereabouts.
Even his brother can't find him

No one came up with anything about him when I tried this 5yrs ago

I'm not very good at this, but have trawled through loads of stapletons but can't find a death for him

Need a fresh pair of eyes Seem to be going around in circles

George was born 1/5/1935 in Lambeth.
Mum: Doris De Luc b 1910. Dad:Charles Stapleton b 1912

He was married to my late sister Doreen Witten in 1960, but they later divorced
They had two boys, Paul b1961 and Gary b1963

They lost all contact, but the boy's would like to try trace his were abouts if possible ( I can't find a death on him) as they lost their Mum in 2001

Any info would be great
