ErikaH thank you so much.
These addresses were on my grandparents marriage certificate. The were born and bred in Leigh Lancashire.
They married in 1896 grandma was 5 months pregnant.
So they must have moved out to stay with family or friends to get married and were back in Leigh by the time baby was born and stayed there.
I don't recognise any of the names from the 1891 census perhaps other people were living there in 1896.
Thanks once again for looking
Linda

The census posted by Erika is listed under Middleton, Tonge, Lancashire, St Michaels parish. I think FMP have muddled their transcription.

They married at St Paul's so think you might be right with the district.

ErikaH

At the relevant local library - but the electoral franchise was very limited.

They could just have been lodging at the addresses in order to marry in the church of their choice, and/or to pay for only one set of Banns

Thank you Erica . I hope they are lodging with a family member.
Thanks Linda
