Edward auburn 1724
also another Edward auburn and mother Elizabeth do you think this could be right I have put the first to on my tree but not sure if last one is right I am trying to cross reference the name to see what comes up also was common practice for the father to name there son with same first name

Very common indeed (in fact, almost expected) for names to be repeated in succeeding generations - and still often happens today.

What details do you have of the Edward with mother Elizabeth? Any dates?
Oh, I see - you mean you want to know if the one born 1724 was the same one who married Martha Eddis?

I have no details on Edward with mother Elizabeth dose now make sense now to have Edward given to your son
thanks ray
