I’ve also tried this and although it only says 2 or 3 matches when I look it says none so I don’t know if the star is a mistake or the message.

Just because you mentioned it, I've tried it - and yes, one purple star promises 49 tree matches, but only 23 actually show up.

However, I don't think the "glitch" is new - I remember noticing it a while ago.

I never normally bother looking at the purple star suggestions anyway - they're mostly wrong.

It's just another of the things that don't work on GR.

Is it just my tree or has anyone else noticed the glitch?
When I click the purple star I do not always get a list with the same number of matches :-

In my immediate family group the purple star number is first, followed by the actual number of names listed:-

Me 64 32
Wife 1 0
A son 4 1
A daughter in law 4 0
Father 21 15
Mother 2 2
In all above cases there are no similar names listed (such as Webber included in a list for Webb)
But for one relative the star shows 7 matches, 13 are returned of which only 3 have the correct spelling.
