My Great Grandfather lived in Ashley Road Bristol,he died 1947 and I would like to find out where he was buried.

Look for the nearest cemetery - google for info

Are you 100% certain he was buried?

It would be more likely a municipal cemetery or crematoria

get his death cert and contact the parks and cemeteries dept of the local council giving them the details from the cert

councils keep excellent records BUT they may charge for the search now
