Thankyou all very much for all of this info.

Very very sorry for late reply but had a power cut this morning.

I got the initial info from this site Genes Reunited but dont have the correct subscription to obtain the full record.

Just waiting for a couple of certs now to see if this lady is from the family Im looking at.

At Manchester Assizes, yesterday, the jury returned a verdict of “Not guilty" in a case in which Jane Feeley, aged 21. was charged with the manslaughter of another woman at a Manchester lodging house. Feeley was discharged.

Pure supposition, but maybe baby Mary died in 'suspicious' circumstances and Jane, her mother, was charged with manslaughter??

Can find nothing to support this theory.
