Hello
A lot of my family came from Hampsthwaite and surrounding areas, so when I first started looking into my family tree I found a site that specifically dealt with those areas. It was posted on a site to do with Hampsthwaite Village, and was a brilliant site for my ancestry, it had census, bdm going back to 17th centuary, hearth tax, also people who had been fined for stealing etc.
I have tried to find it again, but the only thing I can find is a site just about the village its self.
I did look on the thread that's on here first but couldn't find it.
