If anyone is running out of things to do during lockdown, then a bit of help would be really appreciated!
I've been trying for (literally) years to find my great (x2) grandfather on the 1851 census. (I do have a possible/doubtful record of him in 1841 but nothing at all in 1851).
This is what I know about him:
William Workman Bendall (born c1828 in Cam, Gloucestershire)
Baptised on 22 Sept 1828
Married Sarah Seaborn (Cam, Gloucestershire 24.04.1863)
Died c Sept 1888 (Thornbury)
Parents were John Bendall and Ann Workman
Two younger brothers, Thomas and John
Any help would be massively appreciated!! Andy

The man in St Woollos in 1851 was said to have been born in the City of Gloucester, although the occupation matches the 1881 info
Seems feasible...
Incidentally, Ancestry have interpreted the surname as BRENDLE
