Are you sure that the Catherine who married John Fraser (chair master) is the one born in Kenmore?

The marriage record doesn't, of course, name her mother, but says that her father Duncan was a spirit dealer in Edinburgh.

SP has records of 5 Catherine McLarens baptised between 1770 and 1789, with fathers named Duncan - all are in Perthshire. But there may also have been others in other places whose baptism records haven't survived.

From 1815 onwards, it's fine - all proved by records.
Your grandmother was born in Edinburgh in 1890, daughter of Walter Fraser, bookbinder, and Margaret Kennedy. They were married in Edinburgh in 1884.

Walter born Edinburgh c1859, son of Neill Fraser and Eliza Muirhead.
Neill born c1817 in Edinburgh, son of John Fraser and Catherine Mclaren.

Re "seen the family" -
I hope you're not going by anything on someone else's tree, without finding documentary proof for yourself.

For example:
a number of trees on Ancestry have a Patrick McLaren, born 1690 in Killin, and said to be the father of a Duncan McLaren born 1752 in Kenmore.
That Duncan is on 137 trees, in spite of the fact that no such birth is shown on SP.

Some of the trees go so far as to claim that the father Patrick, born in Killin, had two families in Connecticut (including, strangely, daughters with the surname Bissell) , returned to Killin in time to die there in 1731 - and then somehow managed to father Duncan in 1752.

As I said, there are several possible births in Killin alone - in fact, 10 between 1745 and 1772.
And others in other places in Perthshire.

Three of those in Killin have a father named Pat or Patrick.
Two have a mother named Kat. or Katharine.

You say you've "seen the family" of the one in 1750 with father Pat. and mother Janet
Where have you found that, please?

If you register with Scotlands People website, and buy credits, you can view the image of the original parish record.

Such old records seldom give the names of parents - but you may be lucky.

www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

If the marriage record doesn't name his father - and I don't expect it to - you're highly unlikely to find out any more about him.
There were several Duncan McLarens born in Killin, as well as in other places in Perthshire (assuming he belonged to Perthshire) in a reasonable time-frame.
