So yes - "register entry number" is whatever the record's number is on whichever of the above sources it comes from.

I looked up a couple of randoms and they all stated the source.

Above that number it should tell you what the source is. eg Parish Register, Phiilimore etc

On freereg I have found a death and it says Register entry number what is that the Church registry??
