Although he's listed as "visitor" in 1891, perhaps Bessie is his mother? - Or one of her siblings:

Do you have the marriage certificate - if so, can you please post all the details from it - names, ages, occupations, Father's details, witnesses.

If not you should probably get it for the details it has.

Thanks. It shouldnt matter too much with 1921 census as would likely be in the same place... it’s his parents that I need to find, along with his birth place ect... b
It may give another clue I guess.

I’ll check that data base out. Thankyou

The 1921 census won’t be released until next year.

Have you discovered the Cornwall OPC. They have a first class data base.

Completed by Benjamin so may have got her place of birth wrong?

——

So thought I’d trace her back to see if any links back to St Germans, Saltash as could find the parents of William T Basford that we can’t find.

Been trying to chace forward her brothers now to see if any links with st Germans - is this right?

Any help much appreciated !!

I’ve tried searching for newspapers in the area on here and some look promising, but the images are all blank on here for some reason - is it because I’m on an iPad?
