Check the GRO site -FREE - for age at death on those two entries.

BUT……..I thought this thread was about finding the man’s parents?

It definnitely has been, ErikaH.

Joysie has numerous (more than 20) threads, over many years, on various members of the McDowell / McDowall family.

This one below, for instance, indicates that she had a copy of that 1844 Stoke Damerel death cert.in 2015.

i am getting confused with my mcdowell tree as other people from the stroke genealogy club are saying i have dates wrong for john b 1815 and william henry 1828 died 1897 perhaps i should stop doing it as im getting past it now
