1871 England, Wales & Scotland Census
All Saints Street, South Lynn All Saints, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, England

First name(s) Last name Relationship Marital status Sex Age Birth year Occupation Birth place
Anna Kerrison Lodger - Female 64 1807 - Norfolk, England
Ruth Flatman Servant - Female 19 1852 - Norfolk, England

Anna's occupation appears to say Under Matron Lynn Home. She's a Lodger and a Widow born Ringstead, Norfolk. Her surname appears to be correctly transcribed as Kerrison (found on 1861 census) with husband John, a Miller

Ruth is a Servant, unmarried - Servant domestic unemployed born Tydd St Mary, Norfolk

On a current map Tydd is just in Lincs, but you could hop across the border into Norfolk or Cambs

I have found this lady on the 1871 census. Ruth Flatman born 1852 Norfolk but I cannot make out some details on the original.
it says she is a domestic servant unemployed i think but the person she is with is a "matron"? of some home. Also where it usually says daughter/son etc it says something else i cannot read.

Could some kind person have a look and tell me what they think are the details.
I wonder also what place she is in? it just says all saints St?

Suggestions please would be appreciated
