Hi
I’m not too good with technology. I’ve been on GU for many years and building my tree. However im would like to share the tree with my family and wondered what would be the best way. All have access to internet so is it possible to share the information with them?
Thanks Angie

If any of them are members of Genes then you can give them access to your tree. You can’t share it as such with non members.

If you have an off line copy( which is usually recommended) then you can them some versions, depending on what you are using.

If you are really no good with technology you may find it complicated to up,iAd it onto other sites.

You can either
a) download your tree from GR as a GEDCOM file which your family members can upload on their computers to one of many family tree programmes - whether GR or some other.

or
b) if they sign up to GR, you can give them permission to view your tree.
They'll need a paid sub for that - not just a free registration.

Previous threads on this subject would suggest that downloading from GR is less than satisfactory
