I am trying to find the above person who gave birth to a child on 2cd June 1937 named Roland Alexander Fleming who was subsequently adopted by a family called Davies. I believe this to have taken place in Scotland, possibly in Ayrshire. I have been unable to find a record of either of them. Can anyone help please?

Actually, I'm not sure if I've got the right birth for her.

It's certainly the right name, but she would have been 57 when Roland was born.

I have read and re read all this info and am now totally confused. Agree it is very unlikely that Robina was 57 when she had Roland so gather from your posts that the record must be her mother. Cant quite workout the actual date of my Robinas birth and death.Enlightenment for an idiot please

Born 1914 died 1989

1880 birth was NOT her mother - it was almost certainly her AUNT, as per census records, and the marriage of her parents, which I posted
