I tried to add my opinion that as the two births were registered on the same page, in the same quarter of the same year, and with the same unusual combination of parents' surnames - then yes, they are twins.

I don't know why there's an "a" after the page number for Rita.
It may well be to indicate that she was born first, as the poster suggested.

But the thread has disappeared!

The birth was first registered on the same page with errors, which were corrected on the page which shows an 'a' suffix.

If the OP had looked at freebmd, it would have become clear ;-) ;-)
