I'm trying to find out information about Thomas Webb Walters like who his grandparents are and going back further.

Sorry, but we are not mind readers. We need information like when/ where Thomas was born.
Look for Thomas in Search/ search all members trees to see if anyone has him in their tree.
However, you should be able to find his birth on www,freebmd.org.uk. Assuming he was old enough you need to look for him on the census from 1841 to 1921. Depending on his age you may find him own the 1939 register. With the information you have gained you should then be able to wirk out his parents marriage on freebmd and the names of their parents by looking for Thomas’s parents as children.
