No, neither it does! Probably not that birth, in that case. |

Sorry Erika but what does the above mean? is it for Minnies Birth. I have Minnie's daughter coming around on Wednesday to try and give me more information on things that she might remember which might help. As Leonards family settled in Trowbridge and rest of minnies children born Chippenham and Trowbridge it makes sense that they were living at 208 Coombe Lane which is Stable Cottage Atworth. I am trying also to find school records as the primary school of the time was down same lane as they were living. The school no longer exists. Thank you so much for helping me. |

I met with Linda (Minnies youngest daughter) today and they never knew grandparents. Dora the second eldest child was born in a romany caravan cirencester Minnie eldest child was called Mary. Linda told me that minnie was born 1913 died 2002 she thought from birmingham way but not sure. She remembers a sister Lizaby (I think maybe Liberty as can not find anyone matching Lizaby also a sister Dora plus she thinks 2 brothers but doesnt know there names. I am trying to research Romany sites to see if pattern in travel. Leonard Smith was also Romany . |

"Lizaby" could be a family "pet" name for an Elizabeth who couldn't pronounce her name in young childhood. |

It’s unclear as to whose sister she was supposed to be. I took it that she was Dora’s, but we need more clarity. |

yes Dora was married to David Allen ErikaH. Linda seems to think her mum Minnies sister had a unusual name like Lizaby . She did remember visiting a uncle with surname Loveridge but she thought fathers side. Linda born 1953 Trowbridge Wilts. The loveridge family at the time were in vans and tents around Wiltshire. Which i am looking into at the moment some of Smith family have very unusual names . |
