Amy Report 24 Apr 2007 16:20

I've found Jospeh Search (b circa 1853) living with his Aunt and Uncle Sarah and Stephen Search (b 1821 and 1819 respectively) in the 1871 Census. I was looking for some earlier records so I could find his parents and siblings but I cant find a trace of him before this. He just doesnt appear on any censuses that I can see before 1871. Can anyone help me find out any more info please? I think a fresh pair of eyes may help. Thanks Amy

Could it be that his surname wasn't actually 'Search'.......there could be an error or an assumption on the part of the enumerator......... Did he marry? the cert would tell you his father's name.........if known. Reg
