Hi, could you see if a John Cope and his wife Maria are living in Dublin at that time. I know they were there in 1864. He was a soldier when they married, but not sure what he was in 1851. Thanks Wendy

For Peter

No Joseph Tracey found, I'm afraid.

But there are:-
3 x Jas Tracy
6 x Jno Tracy
2 x Jno Tracey.

I did have a print which gave me the Latin abbreviations of names, but I can't find it in amongst my vast collection of files I'm afraid and I can't find the thread on GR either.

I will post a message myself and get back to you tomorrow.

Regards...Teresa.

Teresa, I would be interested in any references to the surmame Berkeley or Berkley. The name is fairly unusual in Dublin. My wife's gg grandfather Patrick Berkeley would have been born around 1840, but we haven't found his father as yet. Thanks Peter

Hi Teresa, I have just the name of my gt.gt grandfather. He married in Dublin in 1852 and I am hoping you may be able to find him or his bride. Joseph Alderson Eggleston and Catherine Louisa Gould. I believe Joseph was in the army so maybe listed in a barracks. Fingers crossed that you can find him. Thankyou for your offer. Frances
