hi jess thanks very much for the look-ups, I wasn't sure if the boys were theirs because on the 1881 jesse and emma had 3 girls lilly 3 born reading clara 2 born reading and elizabeth 3 months born whitley wood so I thought the three on the 1901 could be theirs, are you sure the head is jane and not jesse?, I know lilly's father was jesse because I have her marriage cert. jenny

Jess would you mind checking the 1901 for me please if you have the time, I'd like another opinion. RG13 Pc 565 Fo. 53 Pg 30 William Newlyn age 47 Labourer Coal Wharf Jane Newlyn age 50 (wife) Living at Cock Yard, Woolwich. There is an adopted child transcribed as John Weaver age 1 yr but I think it says NEAVE(S). I've looked at the N in Newlyn and the first letter of the child's name, to me, appears also to be 'N' and not W. What do you think please. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Jan
