Just read back what I wrote and I meant to say any other children! I didnt know any of my grandmothers siblings names, but she was born 29/11/1904 in Leicester. Any chance you would be able to confirm this

Hi Mike Tony said thankyou for looking for Bates Hi Pat The only Tony Mantle birth Melton Mowbray And Married To An Elizabeth was one born in 1843 On 1901 Census Plymouth Devon Thomas Head 58 Melton Mowbray Naval pensioner Elizabeth wife 58 Crabtree Devon If this is the one you will be better of asking Mike ive not got any Census before 1871 and if he was in the navy he might not be on later ones i dont know how it works if you were in forces Beverly
