Ellis On the 1901 there are no Emily HURDMAN entries at all, and no Leicester connections as far as I can see. There are only 118 of that spelling in the country! Any other clues?

Ellis

So if you’ll bear with me for a few days I’ll see if I can come up with an answer for you. Sorry but most of my Leicestershire disks are for the years 1841. ~ 1891. But I'll help you as far as I can. I think you need to ask on the “ Trying to Find Board “ if anyone has an electoral roll for that year. MIKE.

SAINT MICHAEL......... ****you are an absolute star !!!**** looks like i'm finally getting somewhere with these Simmons now , thank you soooooooooo much. Didn't know of the Nottingham connection, so in the last hour i've gone back 4 more generations, will be double checking my IGI findings though. Hadn't even considered a previous marriage for Frederick, have since found his first wife to be Martha Ashmore from Derby, i'll be checking Loughboro' records in the week now for the second marriage, and also a baptism for young Thomas to find which is his mother ( i'm thinkin it to be Ann.......) Thank you once again......... Jane xxxxxxx
