According to my map, Cavan is not in NORTHERN Ireland. Anyway, before 1922 the country was not divided. |

Help I have just found ancestors born in Cavan (not sure if this is the county or the town). John Fitzgerald ( either 1826 ot 1836 different on two census')wife Ann b 1839 d. Ruth Fitzgerald b 1855 Cannot find any IGI for here - are there any free searchable data bases? They moved to England before 1861. Have them in 1871 & 1881 in Habergam Eaves. Any advice greatfully received!! Janet - Oz |
