Lucy, You are fantastic! That was the right Simpson family. I found Charles G Simpson born 1833 on the Family Search site. I then did a batch search and found he had 2 brothers and a sister. It also named HIS parents. What a brilliant result. Shirley

Hi Lucy Not a request for another lookup, just a belated thanks for finding John & Mary Blackburn in Derbys (they were in Leeds 10 years earlier). You must now hold the GC record for lookups !!! your fingers have to be worn down to the 2nd knuckle. Thanks again Terry - Gibraltar

Hi Emma I would be a great help if you could look for the following three families for me Rose Bradburn she would be 51 and has three sons James, Edwin geogre Arthur and a daughter Emily they were living at Stanley street Hulme Lancashire in 1881. Robert Currie Allan, wife Emily, children Albert, Percy,Edith,Stanley & Maggie they live at 51Chapman street Manchester in 1901 Charles P Vaughan, Wife Elizabeth, children Charles S & Edith H they had two houses that they owned in 1881 45 snow hill Wolverhampton & 29 Dudley Street Thank Lorna

Patricia Do you have some forenames I can search for Rowlands family as I can't do address searches. There are 62 Rowlands in Swansea! It will be much quicker if I can hunt for a name.

Hi Lucy, Re Edward Ralph. It could well be him you've found because his mother was Jane and he had a sister Mary. But he married Catherine McVee in June 1887. Was he down as single or married? He could have just been visiting on the night of the census. Where were they living? When you have time, could you please look up Catherine Ralph in Liverpool or Everton and also William (John) Lindon age about 32, possibly in Liverpool but could be anywhere (he was a seaman). Thanks for your help, Lilian

Hi Lucy Thank you for the Bradburn information. I know that Robert Currie Allan was a tailor and woul have been about 42. He does not always use the Currie. Charles Vaughan was about 59 and was a butcher. Hi Lilian, Edward Ralph is listed as single and the family are lodging with Albert Henway? and his family at 4 Prince Edwin Street, 2 Court. The only Catherine Ralph or similar I can find is Catherine Realph, boarder, mar, 24, Isle of Man Douglas who is lodging with Mary Pitt at 22 Compton Street, Everton.
