1861 /1871 yorkshire census lookup please

Please could someone look for a John Watson born in Whitby 1823 possibly living church st/ Henrietta st areas and any family especially his parents thanks very much Rod

yes same family but yours was from 1881 census according to ages on checking, having difficulty finding john watsons parents etc

hi Rod, sorry don't have 1861/1871 census lookup, but do have 1834 Whitby Directory. Havn't found a John Watson but if it's of any help., from the directory ; Nobility, Gentry & Clergy... Mrs Ann Watson of Spring Hill, Whitby. Mr. George Watson of Bagdale, Whitby. Alum Works : Thomas Watson : Sub agent at Kettleness. Attorneys ; Thomas Watson of Flowergate (Clerk to the magistrates) Bankers: Savings' Bank - Flowergate - Thomas Watson - Secretary. Linen & Woolen Drapers: Watson & Summerson at Old Market Place. Saddlers: Adamson Watson at Lythe. Shopkeepers & Dealers in Groceries & Sundries. :Geoge Watson of Ruswarp. William Watson of Lythe. I also have the 1840 directory and the 1890 directory if you think I can be of any further help please let me know.

Hi Florence many thanks for going to so much trouble I've made a list of the names you've found as I'm sure some of them will link in Rod
