ok, so here goes, The only full name and date, place of birth i have so far is my mothers. I am wanting to trace her family back . Susan Lorriman 20/07/1948. Huddersfield. I am really wanting Ronald Lorriman (Susan's dad) details and his father, but alas I only have his name, so could anyone start me off!! Gratefully joanna

If you have the full name and date of birth and place where it would have been registered GRO will do a search for £11.50. If you ask on this board and give the name, date of birth and registration area someone might do a search on 1837 for you. I would but my computer is being mended at the moment and I am using my husband's. His isn't set up for 1837 and I don't want to mess around with it. Once you have her birth certificate you will have her parents names. Ann Glos
