First steps in Family History? The best advice is read up on the subject first. Buy a book or borrow one from your local Library. Then join a County Family History in your area. You will receive a warm welcome and get some real good advice. If you have Kent interests then why not join the Kent Family History Society: website at www.kfhs.org.uk to find addresses of other Societies look at the Federation of Family History Societies at: www.ffhs.org.uk good luck and enjoy climbing your family tree.
