The 1881 British Census (covering England and Wales)is available free on-line at this site: www.familysearch.org. Other good free websites for researching your family history are www.genealogy.com www.rootsweb.com Check out www.cwgc.org for relatives who may have died in WW1 or WW2. The 1901 British census is also on line, but you need to pay a fee (mim 5 pounds) at www.census.pro.gov.uk Happy hunting everyone Kind regards Terri
