I am trying to find the birth (or baptism) records for my great grandmother and her sisters and brother. They were born in County Donegal and came from Glenmaquin. I so far have not had any luck in finding them or the parish they are from. I think they were possibly Presbyterian.
They were:
Nancy bc1826 (went to New Zealand)
Eliza c1830 (went to Australia)
Susan c1835 (went to Australia)
William c1835 stayed in Ireland and married there - had a family
Rebecca c1837 (went to Australia)
Martha c1842 (went to Australia)

I have what information the Genealogy Research Centre in Rathmelton has and also records relating to William Allen from First Ray Presbyterian Church in Manorcunningham. Neither have records of the births/baptisms of any of the above.
Margaret c1844 (went to Australia)
John c? (thought to have gone to Australia)
Annie c? (not known if she emigrated or not)

I hope to visit Ireland soon and any suggestions re what records to try to search would be appreciated.

I know for Souther Ireland, you have the option to have a certificate printed on a blank piece of paper which is cheaper than having it printed on the Official appropriate BDM Certificate. The information given is identical.

As anticipated, they follow the 100-75-50 years access rule and they are free. If the index entry gives you the option of an image, you download a pdf of the full register page in which that birth, marriage or death certificate appears.

I struggled with all these sites and the couple I tried I got lost. Trying to find EMMA KEELEY b1830, father Thomas. All I know so far is born in Ireland. Any help much appreciated.

When searching for a Birth, Death or Marriage on the Civil Registrations on this wonderful website, https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/ be aware that although some records do not show the maiden name for the mother, when searching for a Birth, but by clicking on the child's name it will open another page and if it has 'image' click on it to view the details.

You might be lucky to find a Baptism too on their Church Records...but don't rely on the Birth Date when it is given, as I've found numerous that are incorrect. Not surprising judging by the hand writing on some of them!

More and more Marriages and Deaths are now available to view!

Thank you links. In my experience some of them let you enter information you wish to expand on, names dates places, only to immediately respond insufficient information or incorrect information. Either or both may be correct, but you've volunteered the information you already had (right or wrong)
