I was just wondering if there is anyone who would do a look up for me..I am looking for a Veronica (anne marie) Wood or Woods born in Herefordshire somewhere between 1910 and 1950 she married a Gibbs..I have tried various sites and search engines to no avail..Help would gratefully be recieved.Many thanks Mark

how do you get a 40 year timescale. cant you narrow it down a bit

Mark there's a very big difference between a 1910 & 1950 birth! Can you not pin her down a little by the age of any children?

sorry ok I was born in 1970 so i was working back eldest she would be and youngest she would be.My father was born 1941 so thats how i come up with age range.as in 1920 she could be 50 0r 1950 she could be 20 yrs old..

Do you know when she married? If you could find the marriage certificate that should give you an approximate age which would help in the search for the birth.

She wasnt married to my father that is why im struggling..I grew up with my fathers family..My Father said she had other children but alas I know nothing of them either except proberly born in or around hereford..it say she lived in a place in hereford called college green so that would be in 1970.Any help..

Could you email the library in Hereford and ask them to do a look up on the electoral register for 1970 for College Green to see if there was anyone with the name Veronica on the voter's list? If Wood/Woods was her maiden name then her married name could be anything, but I don't suppose there would be that many Veronicas in the street. It might help with her husband's name and then finding the marriage.

Just an update she was born in 1947..i know this as someone else has listed her on genes to.tried contacting them but no reply as of yet..so any help would still be greatly recieved..

You need to be sure which one you are looking for.
