Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 204 Send Message	It sounds like a fax tone, especially if it's the Uni. They could have set it to automatic but put in the wrong number. Still scary when it happens though.

Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 9,750 Send Message	UPDATE SEE NEWEST POST For almost an hour , every ten mins or so, my home phone has been ringing. When ive answered its silence followed by a series of high beeps.. Ive been putting the phone down almost straight away (just in case). Ive rung 1471 and got the number which after googling it is Loughborough University . Now is this a random dialler from the uni or something more sinister (which costs money) Got a bit upset so phoned hubby, and not had a call since 20 mins ago. Uni has an email addy, I may mail them & take out my anger that way
