Yep have the wii fit ......got it in April and yes I do still use it though I have to admit not daily anymore......about three times a week. I mainly do the yoga and the muscle workouts. Takes between half hour and forty five minutes per session and I'm still really enjoying it.

My mum is a larger lady and has been doing great on it too so age/size is no barrier.

I would recommend it to anyone. I can't say I've lost too much weight but my body shape and tone is far better than it was xx

Daff Lol! Fist I have visions of this pair of scales scuttering away when you approach and then I have an even funnier vision of the ladies in Hurrans cafe with open mouths (in admiration of course) as we perform with the Wii.

and my scales tell me I am dumpy, or too short for my weight so will have to grow.

I paid £69.99 for the wii fit and £179.99 for the wii plus sports

You won't need any extra bits you get a controller in with the wii package......you can buy more at a later date but the wii package with sports will start you off just fine xx

Thank you Muffy. where did you get your from? Amazon have the Wii at about that price or less but haven't got the Wii fit.

Hi all,

OH bought the wii from ebay a few weeks ago and the wii fit from hmv the week after. Probably haven't had it long enough to give evidence of it's weight loss powers as yet, hope I will have soon, lol.

I LOVE IT. You should see me hula hoop. Addicted to the step and have a laugh with the rhythm boxing. Can't do the jogging yet but my daughter does it easily by keeping her feet still and holding the remote in her hand whilst doing some mad shadow boxing moves. I've told her it's cheating.

Also like the balance games & the muscle strengthening.

Love the fact that you unlock more games and levels as you go, so it improves with you.

I had to pre order the wii fit though and choose home delivery for both. xx

having got all the gen and got all excited it seems they are out of stock at the moment, except on ebay where the prices are rising.

Will have to be patient now then.

Hi I got my Wii from Berlin - I know doesn't help !!

I got my wii fit a couple of weeks ago from the Game shop. Just happened to walk past & they had just got some delivered !!

Who deleted???

Penny thanks, not going to berlin. I am sure there will be more in soon, birthday not for another three weeks anyway so time to wait.

I had been waiting/looking in Argos & occasionally game since wii fit came out.

I pulled my muscle doing the wii fit last week. I was doing the 10 minute jog - decided to do a sprint finish & then twang !!!!

Ann did you get one?

I was worried it would be 'left under the sink' but I use it every day for the Yoga and steps. In fact Im off now to do my Yoga before shower and work. Ive used it every day - but dont do the muscle work outs they are a bit too energetic for me.

In fact I've been away for a few days and loaded it in the car and took it with me so I didnt stop my morning routins.

I have found that whilst I am not loosing weight (that wasnt my aim) I can definatly see that it is toning my arms, legs and waist.

OH even said my Blue whale has turned back to a dolphin!

I foolishly didn't jump on the bandwagon back in April when it was launched ............

now i can't find anyone with them in stock unless i want to pay double the RRP or more - which i don't & won't ......

Just checked again this morning - nothing available !!

I reckon it's all the profiteers on ebay that have scooped them up ............

Reading this with interest as been trying to decide if I should get one. We do have a gym upstairs but have fads on using it, most of the exercises are dusting the thing when people are over for a visit :))
I do prefer putting a tape in and doing step but John complains that it sounds like I am about to come through the ceiling :))
