I think the public got it right last night but the judges got it wrong by saving Revelation. I thought Sense of Sound were much better.

Did anyone watch tonight?
Personally I liked Ysgol Glanaethwy,the Bath Male voice choir and Only Men Aloud.
Revelations was more like a backing group than choir.
Think the judges are a bit harsh with their comments at times.As a musician,I listen to the harmonies and thought those three were good.

My lovely OH was a life member of Pendyrus Male Choir and when he died they turned out to sing the hymns at the church for his funeral - choking it was, especially when they started singing "Softly as I leave you" when we left the church with the coffin. Cannot listen to a Welsh choir now without bawling my eyes out.

Less than a year later they sang at our son's wedding and Myfanwy was one they sang while the register was being signed - I could hear it in the background - what a choker!!!

I love the Welsh male voice choirs especially when they sing Myfanwy.
Also like brass bands.
It will be interesting,Star to see how the Bath male choir get on.

The thing that annoyed me a little was the fact that i think it was suszy said that the hereford Police choir apitimises(sp) what this competion is all about yet they didnt choose them again. Oh well i did think Only men Aloud were the better of the two so glad they were the ones going through. Will be interesting to see how the Bath Male Choir.

The only thing I would say is that they are all different types of choir and think it should have been in different categories.How can you compare a huge male voice choir with a small group of,say,Gospel singers?
As a musician I love all types of music and love male voice choirs,but as someone said,they are older and give some of the younger ones a chance,and I do like "Only Men Aloud"
I think they will all benefit from the programme though.

on second thoughts dont tell me i am watching it on bbc i player now

Hello Star.........I haven't followed the series but I did watch it last week and found it most entertaining.

I used to sing in a choir at school ( many years ago.......lol )

I wonder if tonights show is repeated ?

Who else has enjoyed this series. I thought Hereford Police Choir sang brilliantly tonight(but then i might be considered biased as i live in herefrod lol). I just hope they get through tomorrow. The group relevation were good also.
Mind you i had a titter when susy said they formed there words so beautifully as we tend to drop the H when saying hereford lol.
