sunday we (me daughter and grandaughter) popped up to howies,
shed only just woken up in car, she got a cupppa tea and bickie off gangee as she calls him

then he got a little dolly and wooden cradle out for her to have,
it was made by my mams grandfather, it rocks, must be over 70 year old
she loves it,
took rag dolly out and cuddled her, laid her back down in there for ages she played with this dolly and cradle, cuddled dolly up close all way home in car with blankies around her

the straingest thing happend as we left she kissed howie bye, and turned to wave behind us at his house as if she was waving to someone on drive

Awww...how sweet Jue. Maybe her great great great grandfather was there to see her off with his work of Art.

Keep it safe n when she's old enough explain where it come from, maybe she'll continue to pass it down

i played with it as a little girl, and mam played with it,
so thats four generations
im keeping it at my house for twinkle toes to play here as daughters a childminder and it may get a bit battered with some of the kids,
we also have the matching high chair, that twinkle toes loves to sit in for her meals when here, that was made same time as cradle
