Oh Jules.. that last one brought back memories of a phone call I received 28yrs ago.
My son was a small baby ... our best man's sister rang me just after I arrived back from the school run at 9.
Their Father had died the day before & her Mother (who had been at school with my own Mother) wanted to see me & baby ... 'cos she needed to hold him'. I went straight down.
She sat holding him for hours, only letting him out of her arms long enough for me to breast feed, that day I left there to go & collect my daughter from school at 3.15. That phone call was repeated several times over the next few months.
Several years later, she told me that she believed that those times spent with 'baby' gave her the strength to cope with the difficult days.

And the final one -- Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge.
The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child.
The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.
Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.
When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said,
'Nothing, I just helped him cry'
