Winter Drawers Ever Near

Winter Drawers Ever Near Report 7 Aug 2008 21:47

Hi

Had a cup of tea at one of my client's this evening when I put the elderly lady to bed.

Her daughter always makes a cuppa for me, her hubby and herself. Tonight her son was there and had a quick cup before leaving.

Her husband came into the kitchen and said it tasted disgusting. It certainly did.

It wasn't the milk............ She suddenly turned bright red and started laughing.

She'd put bicarb of soda in the kettle to descale it and filled it up and forgot about it. Then boiled it again and made a pot of tea

We cracked up when we realised her son had drunk the whole cup. He would certainly be clean on the inside!

She made it again this time in a cup and asked me if it my tea tasted alright.

I said it didn't....... she had made me a cup of coffee!

Hi,

Reminded me of the time when daughter used an empty Lurpak spreadable carton and put emulsion paint in it when she was painting her room for those little touches you miss.

Left it sitting on breakfast bar and granddad put the lid on it and stuck it back in the fridge.

Hubby made himself some toast and ..... used the "Lurpak".

Said it tasted funny and it had melted! We absolutely wet ourselves laughing.

It could have been serious........Pity it wasn't gloss!
