	Oh what a shame, and what a horrid way to end your days, trying to get fit. His wife must be in bits. 65 is no age to go. That music from Shaft holds strong memories for me. Rest in Peace, Isaac, you will not be easily forgotten. Lizx

	according to Wikipedia, It was his wife that found him next to the treadmill which was still running. He'll always be remembered for "Shaft"

	Isaac Hayes, the pioneering singer, songwriter and musician whose relentless "Theme From Shaft" won Academy and Grammy awards, died Sunday, the Shelby County Sheriff's Office said. He was 65. A family member found Hayes unresponsive near a treadmill and he was pronounced dead about an hour later at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, according to the sheriff's office. The cause of death was not immediately known.
