Be like me, my kids jobs are tidying their rooms, emptying and loading the dishwasher, when they wipe kitchen sides down and they empty rubbish and recycling at the same time.
I have no problem being taxi driver, washer woman etc as long as they remember this when I want a favour, oh and it helps to have a really loud shouting voice and a fiery temper too..

My son brought a nice girl home once, and they offered to do the washing up. Next thing she was asking him how long he had lived at home, and wasnt it time he knew where things were kept. I've always regretted he did not marry her!

Every single time I ask my 18 year old son to do something I always get the same reply............"What Now" so I now ask a request in the following way............."Please can you pick up all the towels off of your bedroom floor........YES NOW!!!!!!"
After a while of doing this he started to ask "Why do you always say "'Yes now' after you've asked me to do something!"
Men!!!! So sad in one so young!!!!

i tell OH to ask daughter anything cos wehn ever i ask its a problem,
also im the go between (eg, son asks me to ask daughter to pick him up from work, or daughter asks me to ask son wot ever , or her dad if she wants something, )
its like cant you lot sppeak same language
