Muffy,

Nothing surprises me anymore, about two months a go a couple from the UK that were on holiday over here had to be hospitalized because of alcohol poisoning . Their three children, if memory serves me correctly were aged between a year and four years old.

One of the parents upon entering the apart hotel complex passed out in the foyer and the other on a sofa. The staff on duty took immediate action. Sorry I do not remember the details as this seems to happen so often these days, that I prefer not to read about it.

Agree with both of you. Four years old is a dangerous age - my ex set fire to the curtains in his house at that age - at about 5 in the morning, he lit a candle on Christmas eve and took it to the window to see the snow. His parents were asleep upstairs, but luckily a Dockie (this was in Portsmouth) was passing by and saw the curtains alight.
He just wanted to see the snow....

that is APPALLED by this and i'm sure they'll be people that think I'm being overly harsh but this is what can happen when children are left alone for even 20 minutes.

I can't believe people STILL take chances like this with their kids and I hope they are dealt with appropriately. Thank god this child is alive to tell the tale. The next child may not be so lucky.WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN!!!!!!!!!
