with this question in my garden i have some plants they are like brown clover leaves with tiny yellow flowers ? i have been pulling them as i think they are weeds but they are so pretty |

I think they are a wild trefoil and I treat them like weeds. It may be tat once they were cultivated but they spread like wild flowers. |

hi twinkly yes they are i do tend to pull them as soon i see them but they do spread fast |

I'm with Ann of Glos. I cannot believe that I one bought a pot of the stuff from a garden centre!!! when we moved to this house the garden was covered in it!!! |

Pull them up..they will spead like wild fire,,,,they get everywhere,,wildflower but a pest, I have it and cant get rid it it despite for ever pulling it up,,its roots are qiute fine but it re-seeds its self,,,,,,,, |

like the others say Linda they are probably a weed...but some weeds are prettier than flowers so keep them or put some in a pot of basket to stop them spreading lol |

linda, i have them in my front garden, they spread all over.......... they look really pretty........ but i pull them up as they overtake, i think their just pretty weeds..... :)))) xxx |

they have little tiny little seed pods that fly open and they get blown everywhere,,the seeds are so tiny,,,,,! |

hi chrisine have been on google and yes thats what they are it says they are very invasive and can choke other plants thank you for your help i shall carry on pulling them up |

I think they are oxalis too, I was given a lovely variety when at Heacham earlier this year. It is burgundy/purple and has big petals/leaves - like a large maroon clover leaf almost, they are doing really well in one of my pots. The smaller oxalis with the yellow flowers does spread but I just pull it up or cut it off when it gets too unmanageable. Also have lots of violas spreading everywhere but they are pretty too so again I just get rid of them when they get too much. |
