Jenny,
You will not believe this but I was going to try and 'find' you to send a message today, how strange. I sat here last night and suddenly thought I had not seen you around for ages. But it was late, then this morning I had to go into town and when I switch back on there you are.

Sorry you are in so much pain and if you want a chat you can always message me.

Love
Ann

~~~~~~~Cazzles.
It's not just that I hate physics it's simply that I'd never done it until the very vague intro that we had during my degree and don't get it at all... and I hate feeling thick. Apart from that and impending assignment doom, I'm quite enjoying it. It's ruined CSI etc for me though (with it being forensic science) because I just sit and yell at the tv that they're making evidence inadmissible LOL
Just had a quick read up on it and omg...ouchies x 20! Has it been suggested to you to get one of them electric heat pads for it? That might help some.
And a trick I learned a few years ago before my Fibromyalgia diagnosis was, in the shower, direct a spray of v.warm water (enough that it pinks the skin but not too hot that it's not bearable), for a couple of minutes, then turn the temp right down to just above cold for a couple of minutes (you can usually tell when the time is right to change the temp) and alternate like that for a few cycles...I'm not entirely sure how or why it works, but I suspect it's to do with application of heat to relax the muscles and cold to reduce inflammation (because ice can cause the stiffening of the surrounding muscles it can make the joint more painful on it's own).
Hey Jenny :-) it's good to see you around here again.
Sorry to see you're in so much pain but congrats are in order for having the one thing on here that I've never heard of LOL that makes you special ;-), seriously though, I hope they can sort out the pain for you because it's really no fun at all. Be careful with the anti-inflammatories, don't want to ruin your stomach lining too (like mine now is).
Well, I restarted my uni course and have just spent the last week going off my trolly trying to learn about paint analysis. Now, I'm fairly sure I would have noticed if they'd said there would be physics in this course because...ew...evil! I got through it...just...but you don't want to be around me in January when I'm fighting with the big assignment on it.
(((hugs))) just coz.
