Just signing off. Have to be up early tomorrow to walk to the doctors for my Flu Jab.
Will be back possibly before I go but definately after I get back.

I'm also out tomorrow evening for a friends birthday, just going for the meal, can't go back for drinks as OH has to get up at 5:00 and he's my driver too.

Then out for the birthday meal.

Went quite well seeing my parents. Mum looked well and was quite perky. She seemed lucid too and remebered a lot of things. Though she asked several times if we were going out and about one of my children many times though she did remember them all.
Dad was OK, just normal conversation and nothing said about things best left unsaid. We'd agreed some things are in the past and to move on from them.
He still thinks he is always right and I feel such a child when he is around, WHY?

Thanks for the tea Mo & Linda.

Linda my dad is 95yrs old and still talks to me as though I'm a child, especially in politics, gosh he thinks he's right in everything !!
I just let him babble on and just now & again say my bit to disagree and then when it gets over the top I make an excuse and leave......I cant be bothered with it ..!!
On my way home I say to my hubby ....why did I come here today ?

My only hope is I don't say things to annoy my two boys as I know how it can affect a person....... I'll leave that to hubby .....!

Well I'm up early this morning and it is a lovely one, think I might do some sheets while the sun is out .

I expect Shelly is still asleep or still sulking because we all left her last night.........

Thanks for the cuppa Linda, I'm a bit late getting here today because I've been watching something hubby recorded.

Oh God he's telling me to come back in the lounge because he's recorded another one.

Better go and sit with him, maybe it's a scary one and he wants me to hold his hand.....LOL

Been and had my flu jab !! No it's not too bad. Nice walk down there and back. Out about half an hour and did nearly 4,000 steps so my bit of healthy living too.

Just had call from youngest daughter asking if I want to go shopping, not sure what she needs but it will get me out.

Hope Rita is OK don't think I saw her yesterday.
Had a nice evening yesterday. Went to a micro brewery where they brew their own beers, I had one called Mango, it was nice. Then we went to a Tapas Bar and there were 17 of us altogether. The food was good. The company merry. Only spoilt by the waiter dropping a plate by my husband !!! It covered him with several sploges of tomatoey and oil sauce. we weren't too bothered but my eldest daughter was furious, and we settled on a free drink as compensation. Just means more washing today, hoping the oil comes out.

Started knitting again. Half made a scarf to add to the stock pile ready to go out to Bulgaria, hopefully before their winter sets in.
