I have been reading most of the evening .
I washed my hair first before i had tea and sat and read. I have the hospital tomorrow at Guildford should get the s can results and what they are going to do about my treatment as they said the Inferon Alpha i had was too strong and it was making me ill so I was taken off it till the scan results come through .
My young son is taking me he has the afternoon off so at least I will have family there when they tell me

Morning Pauline and all others who join in later as I will not be around for most of today.
Thanks for the cuppa, just made the first one here this morning.
Off to Southall around 10:00. Have got some print outs for Aunty, her mother and sisters baptisms, her parents marriage, her grandmothers baptism and her great grandparents marriage. I think she will be interested to see them.

I am busy organising for the show, should quiten down this week until a meeting on 10th, when I will be telling the committee that I'm resigning at the AGM in Feb.

The lorry driver put his plea in but wanted a lesser charge, which was rejected. We now have to have the court case beginning of May for 3 days!!!

I am off to the hospital at 2. this afternoon to get the scan results to see what treatment I now need.I think if I gop back on Ifweron alpha they will cut the dosage down as the 5 was giving me bad side effects anyway we will see. I will let you know what happens.
Linda it is years since I went t to Southall the last time was when I stopped at my daughters for a week years and years ago it had altered everso much since I moved f rom Ealing to Norfolk before that it 1966 I use to go shopping there with a friend of mine we use to buy good dress material there from the Market.

I hope all goes well at the hospital this afternoon I am glad you have your son with you.
Southall really has changed I was born there and lived there until 1973 when I mearried and moved down the road to Hayes.
I remember the market well. They still have the horse market there on Wednesdays I believe. I guess the saturday market is still held but with a different picture. Lots of people advertise Southall for the saris and use them for curtains too I believe. I wonder if we passed each other without knowing it all those years ago. I used to work in Hanwell and Ealing too and shopped there when I had a little bit of spare money. One shop I particularly remember is Chelsea Girl as I saved hard to buy a handbag there.
Aunty is the only relative I still have there, but I probably wouldn't go there if she ever moved. Unlikely now as she is 80 next year.
Oh well if we do more than go to her house I'll send a report on what it was like.
I should visit the cemetary sometime as I have family buried there, before cremation became the norm.

I was born in Willesden (now called brent )
moved to Perivale Ealing in 1966 lived there for about 20 years helped run the scouts and the Towns Womens guild.among other things.
I went to Ealing Cookery college in Ealing Broadyway for a bakery course and Cake making and decorating and sweet making courses.
also did flower arrangeing at the same college and wine making.
my daughter still lives in Hayes she lives off Kingshill Avenue do you know that.? I stay with her during the year and we go shopping in Hayes.
I moved from Perivale in 1982 to Caister in Norfolk and moved back South in 2003 to Surrey.
That market was very good for dress materials I made all my own clothes and most of my material came from there .
