Good grief, whats with everyone doing so much shopping in the supermarkets, are they preparing for the christmas rush, or what.
The queue's in Te*co's today were horrendous, trolleys were so laden, I was surprised they were able to be pushed.
I know that the supermarkets are selling drink at knock down prices, but good grief, people must have been buying a whole years supply at one go.

Stephen, have you not thought about cruelty to animals, fancy using carrier pigeons, the poor weee things are so overworked carrying Christmas Cards.
And Santa has forgotten me the last few years, boo hoo, each christmas morning I waken up, and it's like mother hubbards cupboard,...bear, nothing ,nout, the grandchildren get extra, so I don't mind really.

Well Jeni, where have you been hiding yourself lately, it's been ages since you posted, we missed you.
Don't talk to me about christmas, I have got writers cramp from doing the cards over the last two days.
The price of postage is dreadful now, it cost me nearly £20.00 just for stamps, and thats not including the overseas ones.
Thankfully the local ones can be hand delivered, and theres 36 of them alone.

I hope tomorrow brings some old friends back to the fold. Bye for now, Mo

OH, son and I had a day out in London on Thursday. We went to the Tower of London and saw the poppies, the place was packed with people but managed to see the poppies and take some photos then we went to Covent Garden for lunch and a walk about. Saw the decorated buses (year of the bus)

Haven't been on for a while, hope you are all well

Not done a lot so not much to talk about
still having problems with my wrist, aches a bit and my hand and fingers get puffy overnight, still doing the exercises

Yep Shelly, no Sue, she's like the invisable woman, it would be so nice to have heard from her.

Like you Shelly, I have only one more to buy for for Xmas, and then I am done.
We are not sure how many are here for dinner christmas day, no one has said anything yet, so it will be a last minute dash to the shops for buying the meat etc.

just need to work on my kids and there partners
and that should not take long as im just waiting for the Christmas gift sets to come out
