If your computer does not have a camera you can also attach a "camera" so that you can view who you are talking to.

I love Skype - my husband is in Kabul so speak to him every day pc - pc. When I am not at home I have it on call forward to my mobile so he can still get to speak to me and it only cost pennies for this. Also he can skypeout from his pc to a land line really cheaply too.
